A NOTE & SHOW RESULTS

Dear Competitors and Friends,

Wow,  the Dressage in Bishop- Almost Summer Dressage Show that was held July 23/24 was a blast!  I cannot believe that it is already over!

So many people to acknowledge and to say thank you to:

To Carl for bringing Western Dressage to Bishop through Mule Days as well as for the kind donation from Bishop Vet Hospital.

Hilke Ungersma for the use of your wonderful facility.  Once again the footing was fabulous and the entrance looked fantastic!

Cathy Naugle for working miracles with the scheduling and all of your hard work.

Ryan Kitts for entertaining us with your delightful cowboy poetry and being our"farrier on call."

Our volunteers because without you we could not put on this show:
Our "behind the judge's stand" attendent: Michelle Layne
Scribes: Karen West and Cheryl Chong
Ring Stewards: Millie Stockton, Lauren Oxford, Janet Titus and Sharon Lewis
Scorers: Julie Metz,  Emma Lantz (also a part-time runner and competor),
Norma Mann and Kim Klassen
Part-time Ring Steward and our "run out to get this or that" girl: Tami Matteson

Ben and Susie Hildenbrand for the wonderful and once again successful  2nd annual Saturday Night Show Dinner

Thank you to  the businesses that contributed to our competitor's gifts:

Nutramax Labs-for both the competitor gifts and also the wonderful donation for the Adult Amateur High Point Awards.

Di Kibbler-for the beautiful custom designed stock tie for the dressage High Point Award-your designs are truly amazing!

A special note of thanks to Mike and Julie Raimando of the New York Bagel & Deli Company (Mammoth Lakes, CA, Newhall, CA and Camarillo, CA).  You answered my last minute cry (and trust me,  it was very last minute) for help and donated bagels for the mornings and they were so very appreciated and oh so very delicious!

Thank you to Donna Bulick, DB Photography for trekking down to Bishop and taking wonderful photos.

In closing,  I am thrilled that the shows have been so much fun and since we had such a great time, we are gonna do it again the first weekend in October 2011.  Please join us for our Harvest Moon Dressage Show.

To our horses (and mules)  and the love that we all share for them.

Warmest regards,  Holly Kimball
